still cold
I don't mind the cold! But the weather forecast is promising more snow and this I think is unneccessary, we've got plenty already. Asta loves the snow but hates skiiers, ever since one "chased" her with flailing arms. She ran for her life. The other day she actually (!) caught a field mouse while digging in the snow. And I had to bury the poor thing...

Kaleido
Here are some photos from Kaleido, the arts and crafts cooperative I joined in December. I sell handbound sketchbooks and journals, artcards with envelopes and small accordion booklets with my drawings.
Kaleido consists of around twenty craftsmen who work with ceramics, textiles, blacksmithing, art jewelry, bookbinding and more. We run a store and gallery in a turn-of-the-century warehouse by Uppsala’s central train station. A nightclub, café, boutique with designer clothes and more are found under the same roof. Don't miss a visit if you're in Uppsala!

icicles
We've had the most wonderful winter so far! The first snow fell in November, and it just kept falling and getting colder. And stayed beautiful for ever. Not like in the rescent years - snow, melt, freeze, snow, melt freeze... But I can do without the lowest degrees, -22°C...

New year!
The whole family had fun with the Plastilina clay we gave the children for x-mas. Each family member made their own portrait. Mattias had to assist Asta in the making of hers though :)
Looking back, 2009 was an eventful year for me, for us. There were ups and downs – the downs mainly in our economy – but so many really, really good and positive things happened; my one-month stay in Greece, Mattias' and my art show, becoming a member of Kaleido arts and crafts cooperative, running Göteborgsvarvet..!
Hope you all had a great holiday and wishing you all the best for 2010!
